September Art is Up and Coming!

We have been inspired by our school garden and Oscoda Owls this September. Be looking for art coming up in the halls.  Look closely at the roots and messages in our Art. We are helping you grow your mind!      

3rd Graders

Students are working on weeding, observing, and chalk drawing in the school garden. Students time in the garden depends on the groups’ collaboration. We go into the classroom and create garden inspired art.

7th graders are studying trees in detail around our school yard.  We will take these sketches to create stop and go animation projects. What stories will we create and tell?  

Bird Watching Takes Teamwork!

Planting Pea Seeds

Three classes were able to plant Pea seeds today.  Pea plants like the chilly spring weather better than the hot summer.  We planted the seeds one to two inches deep.  They are supposed to germinate in 7 days.  Germinate means sprout.  We will be looking for them in a week!

School Garden Week 2

Week 1 of Garden Season!
